City of London Train Set

Barb has been saving this one for a long time and keeping it a secret so I am just putting up the picture. The girls brought up Thomas the Tank Engine and Cocoa from Chuggington with her rescue car. The house looks like a pink castle and there have been so many special treats that the pancakes are now passe. Gus and the ladder has been read in repetition, we've visited the local parks several times considering the bleak weather, and tomorrow we attempt to go floating in an indoor pool! This is affectionately know as half term and we are fully involved.

Jordan Journey

Late Lunch? 10:30pm

I just returned from my Jordan journey where I made some new friends in the city of Amman. The weather was mild and so walking the mountains that I remember, seeing the fireworks on weekend nights, visiting the Souk, learning to play Tawle, and sharing a message that I dearly love to pass along, was like a spiritual retreat for me. Thanks to all my friends, and thanks to the Lord who makes me lie down in green pastures!

Happy Birthday Elijah

Elijah turns 7 on Jan 28! Its hard to believe he used to take a bath in the sink. When we were in Seattle for Christmas Elijah told us he liked Psalm 100 so we put together a little song "For the Lord is Good" which you can check out on the sidebar player.

Today is our last day to visit with the Hurtlings in Seattle so we surprised the two older siblings as they came out of their school. The Marx Brother glasses set everyone to laughing with an enjoyable walk up the hill to Apt G. Then Starlight came over to visit Brownie (Guinea Pigs) and the children held them on the kitchen floor. They grow so quickly these little ones and we are really happy to walk alongside them for a brief stretch.

The Boys are Back

After Christmas Bryan and Michelle came to visit and introduce Titus to the West Coast contingent. Strenuous exercise in the park was followed by hamburgers at Dicks Drive In. Then while the ladies watched Titus, the boys had another outing at a local eatery!

Eve Walk

We've been doing Christmas Eve walks for a long time. It helps with the excitement and the preparation. This year we walked downtown and told a story or two before returning to Andy's house for the big event, opening stockings!
