Great Grandpa Hurt's 91st

Dad is slowing down but still alert and Brenda is taking good care of him in Indiana. We found some morel mushrooms, had potato salad, scalloped potatoes, ham and lot's of Dad's favorites and got him MLB TV to enjoy the Cardinal baseball games as a present.

Easter in Seattle

We had the privilege of staying with our grandchildren over Easter while mom and dad were enjoying the sun in Mexico. There were normal days and not so normal days, but fun was had by all.

Quick Trip to Lesvos

Chris from my Wednesday English class and Samer from our first Bridge Training School joined me for a week on the Next Wave working at Camp Moria with the refugees coming over at about 3000 per day. The really positive part of the trip was meeting so many people who want to do something good for people in need. Isn't that a lot like Jesus?

Elijah is 10

A decade since we met our first grandson and he is growing. His personality remains very agreeable and pleasant and his flare for putting together models is also growing. Barb sent him a Star Wars X wing fighter made of Legos and he spent two full days putting it together flawlessly! You can tell we are really proud of him...

The Boy turns Two!

Last year Theo had not been exposed to sweets so he was surprised by all the sugar. This year he was asking for it. O how sweet it is... With farm tractors being high on his list, and mom and dad letting him skip his nap he had a day full of excitement and festivities. He really is a people person and he is proving it by running mawmaw and pawpaw ragged! Bless his precious little heart!
