Summer Time in the UK

We have had our last "Big Brunch" for university students and those camping under bridges for the summer. The chaplaincy will close down except for base camp meetings until late August and so our falafel and pancake days were mostly ourselves. Not bad as we had time to watch the history of the Salvation Army while waiting for customers.

We have finished the first week of our July BDS school and are excited about the students, the partnership, and the location. With the World Cup going on it makes for lively national emotions!

We spent the weekend in Bromley with Betsy's family. Sophia just celebrated her 7th birthday and it was Father's Day on Sunday.

We are getting sunburned in Seattle this week visiting Andy and Sarah and the three little kids along with the Wargos and Waldmans. We only have a few days together so we are making the most of the time and the weekend.
